Brian Walters is a bilingual and bicultural Japanese-American actor/host residing in NYC. Originally from Yokohama, Japan, he moved to New York City in 2009 to start his acting career in America.
In 2002, he starred in a Japanese national TV show for 2 years called "Tensai Terebi-kun", which sparked his interest in acting. He also started modeling in top Japanese men's fashion magazines in 2005.
Since moving to NYC, Brian has been in numerous commercials/TV shows and has been establishing his name as an actor/host. Brian has also surpassed 3 million views on his YouTube channels: Systemjap & It's Candy Time. He is currently the host of Japanese Batsu-Game Improv Show, BATSU! every week since 2012 and was made partner in 2021. Interviewed by Scottish News and the BBC whilst receiving 5 stars from numerous publications, Brian celebrated a Sold Out run with BATSU! in its first year at the Edinburgh Fringe. Since 2022, Brian has had the honor of MCing at the Washington DC Sakura Festival and the National Japan Bowl. In 2023, the Japan Society asked Brian to MC for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Forum. Towards the end of 2023, Batsu Moon in partnership with Underbelly launched BATSU! London at the Underbelly Boulevard in Soho.
